World Food India Sees ₹1.02 Lakh Crore Investment Commitments: Food Processing Ministry.

The Ministry of Food Processing announced recently that 26 domestic and international companies have committed investments totaling ₹1.02 lakh crore during the World Food India 2025 Summit. The Ministry signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with these companies as part of the government’s vision to establish India as a global food processing hub.

According to an official statement, the MoUs signed over the four-day event represent one of the largest investment announcements in India’s food processing sector. These investments are expected to generate direct employment for over 64,000 people and create indirect job opportunities for more than one million individuals, reinforcing the country’s ambition to become a leading global player in food processing.

Among the companies making commitments are Reliance Consumer Products Ltd., Coca-Cola India bottlers, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Amul), Lulu Group’s Fair Exports (India) Pvt. Ltd., Nestlé India Ltd., Tata Consumer Products Ltd., Carlsberg India Pvt. Ltd., B.L. Agro Industries Ltd., ABIS Foods & Proteins Pvt. Ltd., ACE International Ltd, and Patanjali Foods Ltd.

Other notable investors include Godrej Agrovet Ltd., Agristo Masa Pvt. Ltd., Tiwana Nutrition Global Pvt. Ltd., Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt. Ltd., Indian Poultry Alliance Pvt. Ltd., Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd., Dabur India Ltd., Allana Consumer Products Ltd., Olam Food Ingredients, AB InBev, Cremica Food Park Pvt. Ltd., Dairy Craft, Sundex Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Naso Industries Pvt. Ltd., and Bluepine Foods.
