Zen Technologies Secures ₹108 .Crore Contract as Sole Vendor for Tank Gunnery Simulators

Zen Technologies has secured a ₹108-crore contract from the Ministry of Defence to supply tank crew gunnery training simulators, the company announced recently. The deal benefits from recent procurement reforms aimed at prioritizing and safeguarding genuine Indian intellectual property.

According to company sources, the deliveries are expected to be completed within a year, even though the MoD has allowed up to 24 months for the acquisition.

The simulators are high-fidelity systems designed for tank commanders and gunners. They replicate a tank’s turret compartment, complete with sights, control panels, and instruments, and support training across multiple gunnery modes, ammunition types, and both static and moving target engagement scenarios.
