Zetwerk Lands Indian Oil Contract for Over 1,400 EV Chargers

Zetwerk announced on Thursday that it has successfully secured an order with Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) to deploy more than 1,400 EV fast chargers across various locations in India, following a competitive bidding process.

This collaboration underscores Zetwerk's commitment to supporting IOCL's vision of becoming a comprehensive energy solutions provider, particularly in light of the growing importance of emerging mobility trends such as electric vehicles (EVs).

In line with IOCL's green agenda, Zetwerk will install a range of EV chargers with capacities ranging from 50-60 kilowatts (kW) to 100-120 kW. These chargers, specifically the DC Dual gun CCS2 DC Charger, will feature dual-vehicle charging capabilities with a dynamic load-sharing mode, ensuring efficient and convenient charging experiences for users, as per information provided by the managed workplace for contract manufacturing.

Abhay Adya, Zetwerk's Business Head for Renewables, expressed the significance of this partnership, stating, "This prestigious partnership with IOCL is very significant for Zetwerk’s vision for revolutionizing EV charging infrastructure in India. These charging stations will be deployed as per requirement across IOCL outlets, providing a seamless charging experience."
