Mumbai Metro corridor proposals.

The Maharashtra Cabinet recently cleared the proposal for two metro corridors for Mumbai. The corridors, costing Rs. 12,618 crore, would be built by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). They are scheduled to be completed by 2019. The first corridor of 18 km is a part of the Dahisar-Charkop-Bandra-Mankhurd Mumbai Metro-2 link and it will connect suburb of Dahisar (east) with D N Nagar in Andheri (west). The second corridor of 16 km will provide connectivity between Andheri (east) and Dahisar (east) and it is a part of the Mumbai Metro-7 link.
