113 Roads Approved Along China Border for Development.

A year after the launch of the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) along the India-China border, the Union Home Ministry has sanctioned 113 road projects worth ₹2,420.97 crore in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Uttarakhand for the 2023-24 period.

The announcement was made in the ministry's annual report, underscoring the government's commitment to improving infrastructure and connectivity in these strategically important border areas. The road projects are part of the broader initiative to enhance the development and security of India’s border regions.
