2 Holiday Inn Express hotels open in Hyderabad.

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the opening of two Holiday Inn Express hotels — Holiday Inn Express, Banjara Hills, and Holiday Inn Express, Hitec City, in Hyderabad.

Strategically located, Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad Banjara Hills features 168 rooms. The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the City Centre Mall and within 2 km of city’s tourist attractions such as Jalavihar Waterpark and Hussain. The Hitec City property has 148 rooms. Both the hotels feature the brand’s signature ‘Great Room’, a place to socialise as unwind. Vivek Bhalla, Regional Vice-President, IHG, said, “With opening of two Holiday Inn express hotels in Hyderabad, we continue to deliver on our commitment towards leading the midscale hospitality segment in India.” Ashish Jakhanwala, Founder, MD and CEO, SAMHI said, “Both hotels represent the brand’s powerful offering that seamlessly combines great design, strong service culture and strategic locations.” IHG and SAMHI entered a partnership in 2017 to rebrand 14 hotels (approximately 2,000 rooms, operating and under construction) to Holiday Inn Express hotels. The hotels under the portfolio are being renovated and upgraded with the latest design directives, to ensure the portfolio is fully representative of the Holiday Inn Express brand globally.

Holiday Inn Express recently launched a new brand campaign in India, centred around ‘More Than Ready,’ a platform which aims to empower 25-35 years’ travellers, who as road warriors look for added advantages to accomplish their travel goals.
