ACC begins production at Chhattisgarh unit.

ACC has commenced production at its 2.79-mtpa clinker facility in Jamul, Chhattisgarh, according to a company notification recently to the stock exchanges. In the Oct-Dec quarter, the company will commission another cement grinding facility in Jamul besides the one at Sindri, Jharkhand, the statement added. These facilities will help ACC in expanding its customer base in eastern India, the company said. ACC’s shares gained 1.8 per cent at ₹1,631.80 on the NSE.
