ACME Solar Secures 450 MW / 1,800 MWh FDRE Project.
ACME Solar Holdings (ACME Solar) recently announced that it has been awarded a 450 megawatt (MW) / 1,800 megawatt-hour (MWh) firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project by state-run SJVN Ltd.
The SJVN FDRE-IV project has been secured at a tariff of ₹6.75 per unit for a period of 25 years, the company said in a statement. The project was awarded through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB), followed by an e-reverse auction conducted on October 9, 2025. ACME Solar received the letter of award (LoA) on November 10, 2025.
According to the company, the project requires the supply of 4 MWh per MW of capacity during any four-hour period each day within the peak demand window, maintaining 90% availability on a monthly basis.
The award further strengthens ACME Solar’s position in India’s growing renewable energy sector, as the country accelerates efforts to enhance grid stability and integrate more renewable power into its energy mix.
