ACME to supply telecom infrastructure to PGCIL.
Energy management firm ACME has won contracts orders to provide 60 telecom towers worth Rs. 11.50 crore from Power Grid Corporation India Ltd. (PGCIL). The contract is to set up towers across the country.
Under these contracts, ACME will manufacture and supply telecom passive infrastructure to PGCIL. It will also provide energy requirements including power interface units and solar photo voltaic power supply systems, the company said in a statement.
This contract will help in contributing to the nation's growth through implementing green technologies in telecom sector and cutting down the carbon footprint, said Samir Sharan, Chief Executive Office at ACME.
As per the contract, the project needs to be completed within one year after the date of awarding the contract.
