"Uttarakhand CM Dhami Prioritizes Rural Development at Jan Milan Program in Haridwar".

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Jan Milan program at Gautam Farm Nagla Imarti in Haridwar recently, where he engaged with local residents, listened to their concerns, and reaffirmed the state's commitment to the development of rural areas.

At the event, CM Dhami announced the naming of the Landhaura-Laksar road as Raja Narendra Singh Road in honor of the late leader.

The Chief Minister also expressed his condolences over the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, observing a minute of silence and praying for the peace of his soul. "The loss of Manmohan Singh is an irreparable one for the country," CM Dhami stated.

In his address, Dhami emphasized the state's focus on the all-round development of rural areas. "The Ganga of development will flow in rural areas, and we will leave no stone unturned in ensuring their progress," he said. The CM detailed the government's ongoing efforts in key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and roads.

Highlighting the government's initiatives to boost self-employment, Dhami mentioned the introduction of over 30 new policies aimed at increasing employment opportunities through greater investment in the state. He also noted the success of the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, which has created one lakh lakhpatis in the state, with the target of 1.25 lakh lakhpatis expected to be met soon.

To support farmers, the state is offering interest-free loans of up to ₹3 lakh and an 80% subsidy under the Farm Machinery Bank initiative.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the state's strict anti-copying law, noting that 19,000 recruitments have been made transparently, and over 100 people involved in copying malpractices have been sent to jail.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Dhami said the government is constructing Panchdeep at significant locations related to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's life, emphasizing the importance of recognizing these places globally.

For the welfare of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), the state government has implemented several schemes to improve the social and economic standing of these communities, Dhami added. He noted that increased budget allocations and welfare initiatives are strengthening the economic assistance and social status of SC and ST populations.

“Our government is working to make Uttarakhand the leading state in the country. Our goal will be achieved when the benefits of development reach the last person in society,” CM Dhami concluded, reiterating the government's commitment to improving the standard of living for all citizens.
