Advait Infratech Wins Major Green Hydrogen Contract.
Advait Infratech Limited has secured a major contract to establish manufacturing facilities for 200 MW of alkaline electrolysers in India. The contract, valued at approximately ₹200 crore, was awarded by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme (Tranche-II).
Announced on August 27, 2024, the contract aims to enhance domestic production of green hydrogen technology. Advait Infratech is set to develop facilities to produce alkaline electrolysers with a capacity of 200 MW, supporting India’s goal of advancing sustainable energy solutions and achieving self-reliance in green technology manufacturing.
This initiative is part of the SIGHT Scheme, which seeks to accelerate the integration of green hydrogen into India's energy landscape. The specific timeline for the project’s completion has not yet been disclosed.
