AEDB to facilitate investors for renewable energy projects

Islamabad: Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) will facilitate the investors in setting up renewable energy projects in line with the government's policy of promoting the use of renewable energy in the country's power generation mix.

This was stated by AEDB Chief Executive Officer Arif Alauddin, in a meeting with the senior executives of Makwind Power (Pvt) Ltd (MPPL), says a press release issued on Friday.

The AEDB has also issued letter of Intent (Lol) to MPPL for setting up of 50 MW wind farm. MPPL would establish a wind farm comprising 33 turbines each of 1.5 MW near Nooriabad in Sindh.
