AEIM Acquires 11.28 Acres in Kosala Industrial Park, Nava Raipur.
Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials Limited (AEIM) has been allotted 11.28 acres of industrial land by the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRDA) in Kosala Industrial Park, Raipur. The project will benefit from the Government of Chhattisgarh’s industrial policy, including a capital subsidy of up to 40%.
AEIM will immediately begin construction of its state-of-the-art semiconductor materials facility, employing advanced post-tensioned slab technology to achieve large structural spans and accelerated construction timelines, with de-shuttering possible in just 10 days per floor. The first phase of the multi-storey complex is expected to be completed by May 2026.
To ensure smooth commissioning, the company has already placed orders for cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment from leading suppliers in Japan, South Korea, and the United States. Commercial production at the Raipur facility is planned for Q3 2026, positioning AEIM among central India’s most ambitious high-tech manufacturing initiatives.
Vishaal Nandam, Executive Director of AEIM, said, “The exceptional support from the Government of Chhattisgarh exemplifies best-in-class industry-government collaboration. This world-class facility will help establish Raipur as a recognised semiconductor hub. Our ₹10,000-crore investment will generate over 4,000 direct high-skill jobs, foster engineering talent development, and drive significant economic momentum in the region.”
Akila Suresh, Corporate Secretary of AEIM, added, “We have already onboarded the second cohort of engineers, who will undergo specialised training at our existing facilities in Chennai, Singapore, and Estonia. Further recruitment phases are planned to build a strong, future-ready talent pipeline.”
The Raipur facility will focus on advanced semiconductor materials, including sapphire ingots and wafers, as well as next-generation electronic substrates. The project is expected to strengthen India’s semiconductor ecosystem and support the nation’s strategic push towards technological self-reliance.
