Align Technology, a global dental technology company, will invest ₹1,800 crore in Telangana to set up its first manufacturing facility in India.
The proposed plant will be the company’s fourth manufacturing site globally and is expected to generate more than 300 direct jobs over the coming years, according to an official statement.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the investment was signed between Jitse Marree, Senior Vice President at Align Technology, and Sarvesh Singh, CEO of Telangana Life Sciences.
The investment marks a significant expansion of Align Technology’s presence in India as it strengthens its global manufacturing footprint in the dental technology space.
