Amazon Now to Launch Two New Micro-Fulfilment Centres Per Day as Expansion Accelerates.

E-commerce giant Amazon has stepped up the rollout of its ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, accelerating its expansion by opening two new micro-fulfilment centres each day.

Launched in Bengaluru earlier this year, Amazon Now has rapidly grown to cover three cities ahead of the festive season, supported by an initial network of 100 micro-fulfilment centres. The company has since added many more locations to keep pace with rising demand for instant delivery, particularly from Prime members, whose shopping frequency has tripled after adopting the service.

Amazon Now provides a curated assortment of thousands of everyday essentials, spanning groceries, personal care items, beauty products, electronic accessories, small appliances, baby supplies, pet products and more, as the company bets on speed and convenience to capture a larger share of India’s e-commerce market.
