Real estate developer Anant Raj recently announced plans to invest ₹25,000 crore (about $2.6 billion) in the development of data centre and cloud services infrastructure in Haryana, marking a major expansion into the digital infrastructure sector.
The New Delhi-based company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre (HEPC), an agency under the state government, to facilitate the proposed investment.
According to the company, the agreement aims to support investments in data centre facilities and cloud services while strengthening Haryana's position as a key hub for digital infrastructure and technology-led growth.
The planned investment will be directed towards the development of data centres and related cloud computing services, in line with rising demand for digital infrastructure driven by increased data consumption, artificial intelligence applications, and enterprise cloud adoption across India.
