Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd Halts Operations at Vizag Plant Amid Feedstock Disruption

Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd has suspended operations at its Visakhapatnam plant following a halt in the supply of propylene, a key raw material, by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

The company notified the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday that the Visakhapatnam facility’s operations have been suspended effective immediately.

The disruption comes amid the ongoing Iran–US–Israel conflict, which has affected crude supply chains and prompted HPCL to temporarily stop propylene deliveries to downstream industries, impacting Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd’s production.
