Andhra Pradesh CM Vows to Strengthen Visakhapatnam Steel Plant as Capacity Reaches 79%.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to strengthening and safeguarding the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), a key industrial asset in the state.

Following a review meeting at the state Secretariat, Naidu highlighted the progress made at VSP over the past year, attributing the improvement to coordinated efforts between the Centre and the state government. He noted that production at the plant has seen significant recovery, calling it a "welcome development" for the region’s industrial growth.

“The state government is committed to strengthening and protecting the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant,” Naidu said in an official statement.
