Andhra Pradesh to Build India's Largest Library in Amaravati.

The Andhra Pradesh government is set to construct the country's largest and most modern Central Library in Amaravati. The announcement was made by the state's Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh.

The new library will span 2 lakh square feet and is envisioned as a "world-class hub of knowledge." The news came during a state-level review meeting chaired by the minister and attended by senior education officials.

"We will build the best central library in the country and complete it within a year. This will set new standards for access to knowledge," said Lokesh. He also directed officials to fast-track the construction of a regional library at Jagadamba Centre in Visakhapatnam, which is planned to be 50,000 square feet.
