Andhra Pradesh to Form SPV for Amaravati Airport and Key Projects.

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced its decision to create a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to oversee the development of several major projects in the capital city of Amaravati.

The proposal was approved during the 51st meeting of the AP Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), which was chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday.

The newly formed SPV will be responsible for executing several prestigious projects, including a Greenfield Airport, the NTR Statue, a Sports City, and the development of Smart Industries. It will also manage the construction of the Inner Ring Road, a Ropeway, and the comprehensive Riverfront Development project. This move is expected to streamline the implementation and accelerate the progress of these critical infrastructure initiatives in the capital region.
