AP SIPB Clears 15 Projects Worth ₹44,776 Crore in Investments.
The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) on Thursday approved 15 new projects with a total investment of ₹44,776 crore, expected to generate 19,580 jobs. With this, the total value of investments cleared since the formation of the new NDA government in July has surpassed ₹3 lakh crore.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who chaired the meeting, directed officials to expedite necessary approvals and ensure swift implementation of the projects. The SIPB has already granted clearances to major investors, including ArcelorMittal (₹1.36 lakh crore), NTPC, HPCL, and BPCL (₹96,000 crore), with groundwork set to begin in the coming months.
The board had previously approved ₹83,987 crore in its first meeting and ₹1,82,162 crore in the second. The latest approvals focus on renewable energy and food processing sectors, reinforcing the state’s push for sustainable industrial growth.
Over the past seven months, the SIPB has cleared projects worth ₹3,10,925 crore, with the potential to create 3,12,576 jobs. To ensure smooth execution, Naidu has ordered the appointment of a State-level convener to oversee project approvals, address challenges, and fast-track implementation at both grassroots and state levels.
