Ashirvad by Aliaxis Sets August 2026 Commissioning for New Hyderabad Greenfield Plant to Strengthen South India Leadership.

Belgium-based Aliaxis’ Indian subsidiary, Ashirvad by Aliaxis, plans to commission its upcoming greenfield manufacturing facility in Hyderabad by August 2026, as part of its strategy to further consolidate its leadership in South India.

The company, a major producer of plumbing and water management solutions, currently operates seven manufacturing plants across India, including four in the southern region. On Wednesday, it also inaugurated its first integrated distribution centre in Eastern India, located near Kolkata, strengthening its nationwide supply network.

Speaking to businessline, Thierry Vanlancker, Managing Director, Aliaxis, underscored the importance of the Indian market in the company’s global portfolio.

“Aliaxis is the world’s largest player in pipes and fittings worldwide. The one big leg of the company is the Indian operation. Ashirvad, as being our Indian operation, is an extremely important part of our operation. Around 20 per cent of our global revenue is coming from Indian operations. India is actually the No. 3 market for us. We continue to see the Indian market as a growth market,” he said.
