Bajaj Elec has received prestigious orders worth Rs.215 crores under T&D

Mumbai: Bajaj Electrical's Engineering & Project Business Unit has bagged orders worth Rs 215 crore under the portfolio of Transmission and Power Distribution.

The company has secured an order worth Rs 114 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India for construction of 400 kV double circuit Mouda-Wardha line (125 km) The project is expected to be completed within 17 months.

The company has also bagged another order worth Rs 101 crore under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna (RGGVY) scheme from MP Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company (MPPKVVCL). The scope of the order includes survey of SITC of 11 kV feeders, 11/0.4kV sub-stations and BPL connections, involving 11 kV line length of 1,829 km, 2,693 nos 11/0.4kV transformers, LT line length of 1,406 kms and over 90,000 BPL connections.
