BEL Secures ₹695-Crore Order from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders

In a significant development, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU, has clinched a substantial order of ₹695 crore from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. The order pertains to the supply of spares related to missile systems, reinforcing BEL's prowess in providing critical defense solutions.

In addition to the Mazagon Dock order, BEL has received supplementary orders amounting to ₹339.31 crore since its last disclosure on December 26, 2023. These additional orders encompass diverse components, including the Combat Management System, Composite Communication System, Transmit and Receive Modules, Mobile Autonomous Stabilization System, and various other spares and services.

The cumulative value of the orders received by BEL in the current financial year has now reached a noteworthy ₹27,647.31 crore. This underscores BEL's continued success in securing substantial contracts and positions the company as a key player in the defense and technology sectors.
