"Bobba Logistics Allocates ₹100 Crore for Phase 2 Expansion of Micro-Fulfillment Centers"

Bobba Logistics, a third-party logistics (3PL) provider and micro-fulfillment warehousing arm of Bobba Aviation, is set to expand its operations in Bengaluru with plans to establish a new micro-fulfillment facility. The company has allocated ₹100 crore for Phase 2 of its warehousing setup, which is anticipated to be completed by the end of FY25.

Currently, Bobba operates a micro-fulfillment centre on Bellary Road, located 12 km from Bengaluru International Airport, which has been in operation since March 2023. The new facility will be located in Devanahalli, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Chandrakala Bobba, Director of Bobba Group, highlighted the importance of micro-fulfillment centres in supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing organized logistics solutions that enable seamless, cost-efficient, and sustainable warehousing. “As we move forward, it is clear that traffic will continue to increase. In this context, micro-fulfillment centres serve as essential hubs, helping companies save on transit time and enhancing operational growth,” she noted.

Balajee Bobba, also a Director at Bobba Group, added that these centres can be tailored to meet specific inventory management needs. “Instead of renting a larger space of 200,000 sqft for a single customer, businesses can utilize micro-fulfillment centres to optimize their storage and distribution. We can customize the space and services according to varying client requirements,” he explained.

The existing micro-fulfillment facility caters to a diverse clientele of over 15 national and international MNCs across sectors such as freight forwarding, pharmaceuticals, and perishable goods, including fruits, vegetables, and automobile spare parts.

Looking ahead, Bobba Logistics plans to expand into other southern cities like Kochi, Chennai, and Hyderabad, before exploring opportunities in northern markets. The company recorded a revenue turnover of ₹25 crore and aims to triple this figure within the next three to four years, projecting an 8% year-on-year growth during the initial three years.
