Boeing to procure Avantel equipement

Mumbai: Hyderabad-based IT firm Avantel which is involved in manufacturing of telecom products and providing software development services has inked a deal with the US-based aerospace firm Boeing Company.

Under the deal it will supply airborne satellite communication equipment worth US$ 1.3 million.

The company also manufactures telecom products like repeaters, filters, power dividers, power amplifiers, directional couplers, splitters / tappers, handheld terminals, ship-borne terminals, and line drivers; satcom products like S-band receivers, UHF transmitters, burst demodulators, network management systems and solid state power amplifiers.
