BSPGCL Issues Order to Power Mech Projects Ltd.

Power Mech Projects Limited has announced it secured a significant order from the Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL). The contract involves setting up Grid Connected Distributed Solar Power Plants across various locations in Bihar.

These solar plants are part of the PM-KUSUM Component C2 Scheme (Feeder Level Solarization), aimed at solarizing agricultural and mixed feeders in power sub-stations. The projects, which will be developed through the RESCO Mode, will collectively have a cumulative capacity of 13.66 MW (AC).

Power Mech Projects anticipates generating an estimated revenue of ₹159 crores over the 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) period.

The comprehensive scope of work for Power Mech Projects includes the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing operation & maintenance of the solar power plants, along with all necessary associated transmission infrastructure. This initiative will contribute to Bihar's efforts in promoting renewable energy and supporting the agricultural sector.
