Carlson Rezidor likely to open Radisson Blu in Udaipur next month.

Hospitality group Carlson Rezidor recently announced the signing of Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa in partnership with Rockwood Hotels & Resorts Ltd.

The property, formerly known as Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa, will be the first Radisson Blu hotel in Udaipur and is expected to open in May.

'The property will be a great addition to our fast expanding portfolio in India, where we now have 66 hotels in operation and 41 in development,' said Simon C. Barlow, president, Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

The 240-room hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, a lawn tennis court, a spa and a fitness centre. It also has 544 sqm of meeting space, including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 450 people. Dining options include an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a lobby bar and lounge and a poolside bar.
