CCEA approves four NHAI projects
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has given its approval for the investment proposal for the implementation of the following projects:
- Implementation of the project of Chakeri-Allahabad section of National Highway-2 in the state of Uttar Pradesh under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase V on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis in Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) (Toll) Mode. The cost is estimated to be Rs.1691.91 crore including the cost of Rs.338.25 crore towards the cost of land acquisition, resettlement & rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities. The total length of road will be 146.31 km.
-Iimplementation of the Bhavnagar-Veraval section of National Highway-8E in the state of Gujarat under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase IV on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis in Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) (Toll) Mode. The cost is estimated to be Rs.3338.86 crore including the cost of Rs.556.9 crore towards the cost of land acquisition, resettlement & rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities. The total length of road will be 259.98 km.
- implementation of the Khed-Sinnar section of National Highway-50 in the state of Maharashtra under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase IV on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis in Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) (Toll) Mode. The cost is estimated to be Rs.1574.01 crore including the cost of Rs.225.81 crore towards the cost of land acquisition, resettlement & rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities. The total length of road will be 137.94 km.
- Four laning of the Rohtak-Hissar section of National Highway-10 in the state of Haryana under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase III, on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis in Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) (Toll) Mode of delivery. The cost is estimated to be Rs.1310.55 crore including the cost of Rs.351.30 crore towards the cost of land acquisition, resettlement & rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities. The total length of road will be 98.81 km.
