CDA to open 11 new residential sectors

Islamabad: Eleven new residential sectors will be opened in the Federal Capital to meet the requirement of housing facilities. This was announced by Chairman Capital Development Authority Tariq Mehmood at a briefing to the newsmen here.

He said the process of acquisition of land has been started for these sectors. He said two separate sectors one each for institutions and industrial will also be opened. He said the possession in the stalled sectors of D-12 will be given to the allottees in July this year, while CDA has acquired the land for E/12 sector.

He said ten lane Islamabad Highway has been completed last month and CDA is also modernizing the Airport road as per the international standard.

He said most modern bus stop and model bus-bays will be constructed on Islamabad Highway. He said the Flyover at Citi Bank chowk will be opened for traffic by the end of January next year and the construction of Zero Point Interchange will be completed within 18 months.
