"Ceigall India Ltd, in partnership with SAM India Builtwell Pvt Ltd, has emerged as the preferred bidder for a Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation contract."

Ceigall India Limited (CIL), in joint venture with SAM India Builtwell Pvt. Ltd. (SAM), has been declared the L-1 bidder by Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (JMRCL) for a major civil construction package under Jaipur Metro Phase-II. The bid was submitted through a joint venture in which Ceigall India holds a 74 per cent stake, while SAM India Builtwell holds the remaining 26 per cent.

The project scope includes the design and construction of an elevated viaduct along with 10 elevated stations on the Jaipur Metro Phase-II Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS). The stations covered under the package are Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Bilwa, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate and Pinjrapole Gaushala. Architectural finishing works are excluded from the scope.

The alignment spans from chainage –600 metres to 11,400 metres and also includes the construction of a spur line leading towards the metro depot.

The total bid cost for the project stands at ₹918.04 crore. The development is expected to play a key role in expanding Jaipur’s urban mass transit infrastructure under the Phase-II metro expansion.
