"CG Power clinches a major ₹900 crore US deal, making its debut in the international data center sector."
CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd recently said it has secured an order worth around ₹900 crore ($99.2 million) from US-based Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions LLC for a large-scale data centre project in the United States, marking its entry into the fast-growing global data centre segment.
The company said this is the largest single order it has received to date and is a direct export order for the supply of power transformers. Under the contract, CG will supply power transformers engineered to meet the stringent reliability, efficiency and uptime requirements of hyperscale data centre applications.
According to the company, the order will be executed over a delivery period of 12 to 20 months, with delivery terms on a free alongside ship (FAS) basis at Mumbai Port, in line with Incoterms 2020.
Commenting on the development, Amar Kaul, Global CEO and Managing Director, said the order marks CG’s entry into the rapidly expanding global data centre vertical. He added that it validates the company’s ability to deliver globally benchmarked, mission-critical technology solutions from India and reinforces its position as a trusted global partner in applications where reliability and performance are critical.
