Cidco extends bid deadline for Navi Mumbai airport to Sep 2.
Following the green signal from the civil aviation ministry, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) has extended the deadline for submission of request for qualification (RFQ) for the Navi Mumbai international airport to September 2.
'On receipt of the RFQs, we will finalise eligible candidates for the actual bidding for the project,' said Sanjay Bhatia, vice-chairman and managing director, Cidco. The corporation had floated tenders for the Rs. 14,500-crore project on February 5 and had fixed June 18 as the deadline, which was later extended to July 30 after some bidders sought time to submit the tenders.
According to the revised RFQ, Cidco will announce the pre-qualified applicants on October 30 and the concession agreement will be signed within 60 days of the letter of approval being issued.
