Construction on for Tezu airport.

Work on the under-construction airport at Tezu in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh has gained momentum with hectic activities underway to complete the runway, work on terminal building and air traffic control tower to meet the 2014 deadline.

'The 1.5 km long and 30 m wide runway is very sensitive from the security point of view, therefore we are ensuring 100 per cent quality work. It is expected to be completed within 6 months if good weather prevails,' technical in-charge of runway, Pankaj Neog said.
