CREDAI keen to build civil infrastructure

Kolkata: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association (CREDAI) has said it is keen on participating in building “civil infrastructure” in collaboration with the State Government to facilitate real estate projects in the city.

“The growth momentum in this sector will put tremendous pressure on infrastructure in the State. Infrastructure projects through public private partnership are a successfully tested option and we would be happy to collaborate with the Government on development of civil-infrastructure,” Mr Pradeep Sureka, President CREDAI Bengal, said.

As a part of the initiative, CREDAI members will also maintain and ‘adopt footpaths’, he said. The association has organised a real estate exhibition titled ‘Realty Expo’, showcasing 65 exhibitors along with 200 properties and allied products.

The exhibition is being held at the Science City till March 2. “
