Educomp to implement ICT in 2,042 schools

New Delhi: Educomp Solutions has received orders from Uttar Pradesh and Assam for information and communication technology (ICT) implementation in 2,042 schools. The combined worth of these orders are Rs 120 crore.

With these orders, the total number of schools under ICT implementation in the Educomp portfolio has gone up to 12,012.

“We are pleased to achieve our target for this year, of 12,000 schools under ICT implementation, a quarter in advance.

Educomp is proud to partner with various State governments for technology- aided learning to children across the length and breadth of India,” said Mr Shantanu Prakash, CEO and Managing Director.

Educomp has received work order from Education Director (Secondary), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh for implementation of computer education and computer-aided education in 1,401 schools in four zones, namely for five years on BOOT basis.
