Engineering Cluster in Nasik.

Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under Ministry of Commerce and Industry has established ‘Nasik Engineering Cluster’ in Nashik district of Maharashtra under ‘Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (IIUS)’.

The project at Nasik Engineering Cluster (NEC) has been completed and NEC has created common industrial infrastructure like Rapid Prototype Development Centre, Training Centre along with well-equipped training studio and work stations and a calibration and testing facility which has been accredited by National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (NABL).

This information was given by the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, PiyushGoyal, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha recently.
