Faisalabad gets new metro cash & carry centre
Faisalabad: Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sana Ullah Khan has said that huge foreign investment in business and trade activities would help in strengthening country's economy and government would encourage such foreign investors those would play vital role to develop the local economy and to promote modern technology in trade and business sectors through their foreign investment.
He stated this while addressing to an inaugural ceremony of Metro Cash & Carry Centre as a chief guest here at Sargodha Road. He welcomes the establishment of Metro Cash & Carry Centre Faisalabad. He appreciated the resolve and commitment of its management to contribute in Pakistan economy by their commercial and trade activities. He said that this unique self service, whole sale business to business system would not only help in raising the tendency of healthy competition in trade and business but also provide help to producers and suppliers in developing modern cultivation, processing and distribution methods besides generating new business for manufacturers and farmers.
The minister urged upon the management of Metro Cash & Carry that steps should also be taken to provide maximum economic relief to the common man. He assured conducive and pleasant environment to the management on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab and District Administration. Managing Director Metro Group Giovani Soranzo informed the salient characteristic of Metro Cash & Carry and sales concept. He said that more than 20000 fresh and high quality articles including food and other items would be presented for sale under one roof.
Later, the minister inaugurated the Metro Cash & Carry. MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra, DCO Saeed Wahlah City District Nazim Rana Zahid Tauseef, SSP Rana Iqbal, others officers, management of Metro and prominent businessmen & traders also present on the occasion. The minister also took a round of the store and witnessed various sales sections.
