Foundation laying for textile park

Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Minister, Mr V.S. Achuthanandan, will lay the foundation stone for Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation's (Kinfra) integrated textile park at Kanjikode in Palakkad on Friday. The Kerala Industries Minister, Mr Elamaram Kareem, and the Electricity Minister, Mr A.K. Balan, will participate in the function, says a Kinfra press release. In addition to this, the company has set up an international apparel park in Thiruvananthapuram and is in the process of setting up a textile centre in Kannur, the release adds.
