Godrej Agrovet Signs ₹960 Crore MoU with Food Processing Ministry for R&D and Manufacturing.

Godrej Agrovet Ltd has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) to invest ₹960 crore in setting up manufacturing, processing, and research facilities across India.

The MoU was signed on Friday during the World Food India 2025 event, marking a major step in the company’s efforts to strengthen its footprint in the food processing sector.

In a regulatory filing, Godrej Agrovet said the proposed investment will be directed towards expanding its manufacturing capabilities and establishing a dedicated research and development centre, underscoring its long-term commitment to innovation and value addition in the agri-business space.
