Godrej Properties Secures Kolkata Land Parcel Through E-Auction.

Real estate major Godrej Properties recently announced that it has won an e-auction conducted by the West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO) for a prime five-acre land parcel in a high-end residential area of Kolkata.

According to a stock exchange filing, the proposed premium residential project is expected to generate an estimated revenue potential of around ₹1,650 crore.

The land is located off the EM Bypass corridor, one of Kolkata’s most well-connected and rapidly developing urban stretches. The area benefits from robust physical and social infrastructure, linking major neighbourhoods including Salt Lake, New Town, Park Circus, Gariahat, and Garia, while providing seamless access to commercial hubs, IT-ITeS clusters, educational institutions, and leading healthcare facilities.
