Grandiose Supermarkets reveals UAE expansion plans.

Fresh from opening a new store on Al Reem Island, Grandiose Supermarkets has revealed plans for further rapid expansion across the UAE throughout the rest of this year.

Despite the continued economic crisis caused by coronavirus, the neighborhood supermarket chain is set to open branches in Dubai Sports City and Dubai Marina, as well as a further venue in Abu Dhabi, in Masdar, and four more stores at, as yet, unnamed locations.

Grandiose Supermarkets currently operate from Dubai Marina, Jumeirah, Silicon Oasis, Dubai Mall, Barsha, Address Down Town, RAK Grove and now Reem Island – the company’s first outlet in Abu Dhabi.

Olivier Latour, CEO of Grandiose supermarkets, told Arabian Business: “The engagement and satisfaction of our customers have encouraged us to fast track our expansion in the UAE. We are proud to launch our first Abu Dhabi store and support communities through the current crisis.”

During the current pandemic, Grandiose has strengthened its delivery offering, while Latour stressed that stock levels are constantly monitored and adjusted to adequately meet customer needs.

He added: “In response to the current situation, we have stepped up our health and safety measures to ensure the well-being of our staff and customers as well as taking all necessary steps to ensure reliable service and support to the community.”
