Greenstat Hydrogen India and H2Carrier Ink MoU to Boost Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Solutions.

Greenstat Hydrogen India (GHI), a developer of green hydrogen and its derivatives, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Norway-based H2Carrier, a pioneer in floating green ammonia production solutions. The partnership aims to advance green hydrogen and ammonia projects in India and Sri Lanka, with a focus on innovative floating production technologies.

The collaboration will involve project identification, feasibility studies, and the implementation of green hydrogen and ammonia production facilities. Central to the partnership is the deployment of H2Carrier’s P2XFloater technology, the world’s first floating green ammonia production facility, which leverages renewable energy sources for cost-effective and scalable production.

“This MoU reflects our commitment to accelerating the energy transition by delivering sustainable and scalable solutions,” said Sturle Harald Pedersen, Chairman and CEO of GHI. “H2Carrier’s P2XFloater technology offers a flexible and efficient approach to green hydrogen and ammonia production, addressing the need for clean energy in key sectors.”

Established in 2020 by Norway's Greenstat ASA, GHI focuses on developing green energy projects and investing in zero-emission solutions. Through this MoU, GHI and H2Carrier aim to accelerate the global energy transition by advancing green hydrogen and ammonia technologies in South Asia.
