GVK Power consortium gets 7 offshore blocks

Hyderabad: GVK Power & Infrastructure has informed BSE that the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has awarded seven Offshore Deep Water blocks to the Consortium of BHP Billiton Petroleum International and GVK Oil & Gas Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd).

This allotment was under the Seventh round of New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP-VII).
