Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has engaged with Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, requesting the allocation of ₹250 crore for development projects in the Gwalior-Chambal region, encompassing the districts of Gwalior, Guna, Ashoknagar, and Shivpuri. The meeting, held at Shram Shakti Bhawan, also addressed developmental issues concerning Northeast India.

Scindia emphasized the urgent need for infrastructure improvements in Gwalior, specifically highlighting the persistent problem of waterlogging. He proposed a ₹60 crore project to establish a comprehensive drainage system and install a new sewer line.

For Shivpuri, Scindia sought financial support to expedite pending works under the AMRUT-2 scheme, including the construction of an AMRUT Park, the renovation of Bhujariya Talab, the conservation of Jadhav Sagar, and improvements to the city's sanitation infrastructure.

In Guna, Scindia presented proposals for development and beautification, requesting approximately ₹80 crore for the creation of a 5-hectare Oxygen Park, the construction of a modern bus terminal, and the development of Madhavrao Scindia Road as a themed road.

Scindia also outlined plans for the renovation and beautification of Tulsi Sarovar in Ashoknagar and the development of the Guna Tiraaha to Tridev Mandir road as a themed stretch, demonstrating his commitment to his parliamentary constituency.

Furthermore, Scindia extended an invitation to Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to attend the North East Rising Investor Summit 2025, scheduled for May. He expressed optimism that the summit would attract significant investment and propel development in the Northeast, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a prosperous region.
