HBL Engineering Bags ₹30.67 Crore KAVACH Upgrade Order from South Central Railway.

HBL Engineering Limited (formerly HBL Power Systems Limited) has been awarded a significant contract by South Central Railway for the upgrade of the KAVACH system from Version 3.2 to Version 4.0. The project covers the Mudkhed (Including) - Manmad (Excluding) section, spanning 350 kilometers.

The total value of the contract, inclusive of 18% GST, is ₹30.67 crore. HBL Engineering is expected to complete the upgrade within a timeframe of 24 months.

This new order adds to HBL Engineering's robust order book, which now totals an impressive ₹4,029.05 crore. The KAVACH system, an indigenously developed Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, is crucial for enhancing railway safety by preventing collisions and ensuring adherence to speed limits. The upgrade to Version 4.0 is expected to bring advanced features and improved reliability to this critical safety infrastructure.
