ReNew Energy Global to Invest ₹60,000 Crore in Andhra Pradesh.

Decarbonisation solutions provider ReNew Energy Global Plc will invest about ₹60,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh to develop multiple green energy projects across the state.

“This is in addition to the ₹22,000 crore we have already committed to Andhra Pradesh in May 2025,” ReNew Founder-Chairman and CEO Sumant Sinha told reporters after the company formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently.

With this, ReNew’s total fresh investment commitment in the state rises to ₹82,000 crore. Sinha said the company has a “long-standing association with the State” and plans to build a fully integrated clean energy value chain in Andhra Pradesh — from wafer manufacturing to large-scale renewable energy projects and storage infrastructure.
