HCC bags Vadodara-Surat section of NH-8 worth Rs.800 Crore

HCC has bagged contract worth Rs.800 crore from the highways authority for the six laning project of Vadodara-Surat section of NH-8.

The project includes construction of a new four lane extra dosed bridge across the Narmada river in Gujarat.

The concession period for the project is 12 years, including a construction period of 30 months adding that the project is on toll basis under the National Highways Development Program-V.

The project is among the final stretches to be expanded to six-lane capacity on NH-8, which connects Delhi to Mumbai.
