Healthium Medtech to Invest ₹150 Crore in Expansion at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.

Healthium Medtech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to establish Healthium Medtech Unit 2 in Sri City Industrial Park, Tirupati district, with an investment of ₹150 crore to be executed in two phases.

The new facility represents an expansion of Healthium Medtech’s existing operations in Sri City, where it has been manufacturing sutures and meshes since 2012. “The addition of Unit 2 consolidates the company’s foothold in a region that has matured into a competitive hub for medtech manufacturing,” the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The proposed unit is expected to generate 300 direct jobs within the factory by 2027, along with around 100 indirect employment opportunities.
