Anti-counterfeiting and security solutions provider Holoflex Ltd plans to invest around ₹30 crore over the next two years to establish a second manufacturing facility, as demand for integrated physical and digital brand protection solutions continues to grow amid rising concerns over counterfeit products.
The company, one of the leading players in the anti-counterfeiting solutions segment in eastern India, currently operates a manufacturing unit at Panchla in Howrah district of West Bengal and undertakes value-added activities at its facility in Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata.
Holoflex is evaluating locations around Delhi and in Gujarat for the proposed greenfield manufacturing unit, which is expected to enhance its production capabilities and improve proximity to key customers.
Speaking to PTI, Holoflex Director Manoj Kochar said the increasing integration of anti-counterfeiting measures with product labels and packaging has made client proximity a critical factor in the company's expansion strategy.
“As anti-counterfeiting exercise is increasingly getting integrated with product labels and packaging, proximity to clients is becoming important,” Kochar said.
The planned expansion comes at a time when businesses across sectors are seeking advanced solutions to combat counterfeiting and ensure product authenticity, driving demand for sophisticated security and brand protection technologies.
